The Department of Education (DepEd) has issued a warrant for the male instructor in the popular TikTok video to be investigated for possible 'Child Abuse.'
Education Secretary John B. King announced on Friday, November 5, 2021, that he will resign. Leonor Briones has asked the director of the DepEd Central Luzon to look into the viral teacher who made a TikTok video implying possible child abuse.
The instructor strikes a posture in the video while the text "Pag dumaan ang cute na student mo" comes on the screen. The male teacher quickly flexed his impressive dancing skills.
The instructor looks to be striking a certain attitude in order to pique the interest of his "adorable" student. The teacher's actions were deemed by the Education Department to be a form of child abuse.

The Department of Education has stated that such behavior would not be tolerated since instructors should set a positive example for pupils. Abuse and discrimination in any form, including physical, verbal, malicious, and other forms, is absolutely banned.
The agency’s officials also ledge to intensify the department’s policy to protect the student against any form of abuse.
